FAQ

These are the most frequently asked questions.

SUBSCRIPTION

Do I get access to all tutorials or just one?

After paying $24 you get online access to ALL tutorials and templates that are available on the website for a month.

Will I be able to download/print all tutorials?
You won’t be able to print/download whole tutorials, but you can download/print all templates.

Do the tutorials include videos?
While my tutorials are primarily photo-based, I've recently begun including short step videos for added clarity. So all tutorials starting from 'Cute Flamingo' include short step videos.

I make short videos specifically for the steps that require them. For all the simple steps, I use photos instead. This approach saves you time as you don't have to watch me demonstrate every single basic shape or action - you can simply take a quick glance at the photo and know exactly what to do.

Can I see how the tutorials look like before I become a member?
If you want to see how the tutorials look like and what they include, check out this free sample - Halloween Zombie. Please note that all tutorials starting from 'Cute Flamingo' additionally include short step videos.

Will I be charged for the next month?
No, you won’t be charged for the next month. After a month the subscription expires automatically. You can renew the subscription whenever you want.

How can I purchase the subscription?
You’ll find the checkout page here. The process is simple and quick. Just follow the instructions.

TEMPLATES

How do the templates work?

All is explained here.

Can I use them to make other figurines?
Yes. You'll find more information here.

PAYMENT

Can I pay by PayPal?
Unfortunately, no. You can pay by credit or debit cards only.

We use Stripe. It's the most trusted payment provider used by such giants as Amazon, Google, Shopify and Zoom.

What is the currency at checkout?
USD (United States dollar).

You are based in the UK, so why is the currency in USD?
Most of my customers are from the US. To make it more convenient for the majority I decided to choose the USD ($) as the payment currency.

If you are not from the US you can still make the purchase - your bank will automatically convert the currency.

How much is $24 in my currency?
Currencies fluctuate all the time. To calculate the approximate cost you can use Google Currency Converter.

Will my card details be safe?
We use a secure and trusted payment provider - Stripe. It’s the same payment provider that is used by brands such as Amazon, Google, Shopify.

Payment card information is always encrypted. We never see your card details. We are just informed when your payment has been authorised by your bank. You’ll find more details in the Privacy Policy.

Will I be charged for the next month?
No, you won’t be charged for the next month. After a month the subscription expires automatically. You can renew the subscription whenever you want.

LANGUAGE

Do you have tutorials in Spanish?
All my tutorials are in English only, but you can translate the content of the page via the Chrome browser. If you are using a computer all you need to do is click a 'Translate' icon on the right-hand side of the address bar. It's a small icon with a letter 'G' on it.

These are links to the Chrome help pages where all is explained in detail:

SKILL LEVEL

Do I need to reach a certain skill level before I start learning from your tutorials?
No, the tutorials are beginner friendly. They are very easy to follow. There are no skipped steps. Throughout the tutorials you will find links to other sections of the website, where you can get more detailed information.

Apart from tutorials, the website includes many posts where you will find basics and tips.

If you are a total beginner, I suggest you start with simple animals. Once you get used to the paste and get the hang of the basic techniques, move on to standing animals and simple people figurines. Save the most complex designs and people with modelled faces for last.

You can always contact me if you have any questions. I'll help.

NAVIGATION

I want to make one of your cake toppers, but I can't seem to find the tutorial on your website. Can you help me?
To find a tutorial go to the Main Page or 'Tutorials' and use the search box on the top of the page. Type the keywords in English.

Keep in mind that I don't have tutorials for all cake toppers I make. Some of them I make just for fun :)

You'll find all my cake toppers (including the ones with no tutorials) in the 'Inspirations' section. Go to the main menu, choose 'Inspirations' and use the search box on the top of the page.

I often use templates from other tutorials to make my cake toppers. Those figurines are made the same way or in a similar way. Only the details are different. So you don't always need a separate tutorial. You'll find more information about the versatility of the templates here

To find out whether I used templates from another tutorial to make a particular cake topper, go to 'Inspirations' and click on the image of the cake topper you are interested in. You'll find links or tips below the photo. If there are no links it means that there is no tutorial for this particular cake topper.

I'm just looking for inspiration. Do you have photos of all your cake toppers somewhere on your website?
Yes. To make it easier for you to find a specific figurine, I've created the 'Inspirations' section. You'll find all my cake toppers there. Including the ones I made just for fun (no tutorials). Go to the main menu, choose 'Inspirations' and use the search box on the top of the page. Type keywords in English.

Can I sell cakes with the cake toppers I made with the help of your tutorials?
Yes, as long as you don’t advertise the designs as your own.

Can I sell the figurines separately (not on a cake)?
It depends. If your sell a few cake toppers from time to time it’s ok, but if you want to set up a shop where you will sell the figurines in larger quantities and advertise the designs as your own, it’s not ok. Please use common sense. If you have any doubts, please contact me.

Can I use your designs commercially?
No. Only in some cases I can agree to sell a license that grants the right to use the designs commercially. If you are interested in buying such a license, please contact me.
